Faq's
All Of Our 3d And 4D Plates Purchased Under our Road Legal Section are Fully Compliant & Conform with DVLA & British Standards as required by Law.
We have been registered with the DVLA for over 10 Years.
They Include the necessary markings, mainly our registered outlet details at the bottom and the British Standard Markings on the left hand side. Current law per 2021 state all plates manufactured and fitted must be black through and through and no colors are allowed.
For Novelty / Show Plates, We do not require any documentation unless it is something can could be used on the road.
In Order for your number plates to be considered road legal , we are required by law to see your documents. You are required to provide us a Proof Of Identity Document and a Proof Of Entitlement Document. Explore the list below to find out in detail what documents you can provide. The Proof Of Entitlement that you provide is legally not required to be in your name.
Proof Of Identity Documents include:
- Driving Licence ( UK or non-UK)
- Gas, Electricity, Water, Landline Phone, Council tax bill or rate bill in Northern Ireland( Issued within the last six months)
- Bank or building society statement ( Issued within the last six months)
- Passport ( UK or non- UK)
- National Identity card issued by the government of a state or a territory( Other then the United Kingdom)
- A Police warrant card
- An armed forces identity card
Proof Of Entitlement Documents Include:
The Proof Of Entitelement that you provide is legally not required to be in your name.
- Registration Certificate V5C or V5C(NI)
- New Keeper Supplement V5C/2 or V5C/2 (NI)
- Certificate of Entitlement V750 or V750(NI)
- Retention Document V778 (does not apply in Northern Ireland)
- Renewal reminder for a tax disc or SORN V11 or V11(NI)
- Temporary Registration Certificate V379 ( Does not apply in Northern Ireland)
- Number Plate Authorisation Certificate V948 with official DVLA, DVA or VOSA stamp
- A letter of authorisation from lease or hire companies, including fleet operators. The letter must quote the document reference number from the V5C or V5C(NI)
- Record of the insurer's name, reference and policy numbers (for repairs approved by an insurance company)
UK Shipping
All Items are usually dispatched within 1- 2 Working days of Payment Clearance and Document Acceptance for those that are required.
Postage is Via 1st Class on a 24/48 Hour day service unless otherwise stated on the product page itself. This can be upgraded to a guaranteed Service at an additional cost upon checkout.
We take pride in all aspects of our Business from Customer Service, Dispatching and Delivery as is Apparent from our Extremely Happy and Loyal Customers who boast our dispatch and Delivery on receiving there orders so rest assured you can hold us to our Dispatch Timescales.
If for any reason there is a delay with your order you will be notified as soon as so please make sure to leave a phone number on your order.
Shipping is to UK Mainland Only, Other areas May Vary.
PLEASE NOTE: Saturday and Sundays are not Working days, so orders made on Thursday/Friday will be Dispatched the Following Monday Onwards as per our timescale above. HOWEVER Please do get in touch with us to see if we can accommodate earlier dispatch or Collection.
Not Received Your Order?
NOTE: Always check your mailbox if you have one as your order could be there, Make sure someone else at home or work has not taken delivery as this has been the case majority of the times in the past.
Please also check you have not been a left a calling card regarding your delivery in the chance no-one was present to sign.
We will not re-post orders that have been returned to us where buyers were not present upon delivery or failed to collect from the collection depot as advised by the relevant courier. if we do receive these you will have to pay to have your order re-sent.
